Every Sunshine Events Group tournament has a block of hotel rooms held at rates negotiated for that weekend. You can book online in a few clicks — but the teams that get the best deal almost always pick up the phone first.

Team housing for every Sunshine event is run by Legacy Sports Travel.
Five minutes with him is worth it, because there are things he can do that a booking website can't:
- Beat the posted rate. The online block price is the starting point, not the floor. Tell him your room count and ask what he can do.
- Get your team extras. Depending on how many rooms you take, teams can be eligible for complimentary rooms for coaches and similar perks. They aren't offered automatically — ask what your team qualifies for.
- Keep everyone together. Booking room by room online is how a squad ends up at three properties with three different Saturday departures. He'll put you under one roof.
- Point you at the right hotel. Which properties are minutes from the fields, and which are closer to the beach and the restaurants for families making a weekend of it.

Do we have to book through the tournament hotel block?
No. Booking through the block is strongly recommended but not required. Teams are free to book wherever they like — most book the block because the negotiated rate beats what the same hotel is charging that weekend, and because it keeps the team together.
Can we get a better rate than the one listed online?
Often, yes. Contact Vinny at Legacy Sports Travel before booking — the online price is the starting point, and depending on your room count your team may also be eligible for extras such as complimentary rooms for coaches.
How do we make sure the whole team stays at the same hotel?
Book through Vinny rather than room by room online. Tell him how many rooms you need and he'll hold them together at one property.
When should we book our rooms?
As soon as your team is accepted into the event. Blocks are a fixed number of rooms and South Florida rates rise as a tournament weekend gets closer.
